Well, here we are at Wednesday again. This means that it's time to join in with Julia on a lovely snoop of other peoples crafty goodness for the week.
This is my desk as it was Tuesday evening around 7:30 pm. Did up a card to be entered in a challenge. I did clean up afterward (yes, even cleaned off the stamps I used!) and put everything away.
Mr R and I started making our way into work this morning only to be frustrated by the fact that it was so snowy and slow on the highway that it took 25 minutes to go just one exit (normal driving time 5-7 minutes). What that means is we're taking a snow day!!! That also means that I can go back into the studio and mess up my nice clean desk. I call that a win-win situation.
This is the view from the studio window right now.
It's a good day to stay in and play!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Michelle
Your B&W box on the back of your desk has inspired me to recover a box that i have similar to that and re-purpose it on my desk! Thank you for the inspiration! :) Yes, and your snowy world looks the same as ours. It is a good day to go WOYWW Blog hopping! :) #27

Hi MIchelle, at present I'm not working so I get to be at my desk anytime I want, hence the big clean up. But if I did work, I would love to live where it snows; at least it looks beautiful and you get to have 'snow days', but I do know it ends up a slushy mess - so I'll stay here in sunny Queensland. You do have a lovely tidy desk; you have great storage and I love the caddy - I was checking out another blogger and she had me off to the Op shop to buy a mug tree to hang my scissors and tape on. Cheers and have a super warm crafty week RobynO#16

DeleteMy niece lives in Barrack Heights, just outside Wollongong. I was up in Cairns a few years ago and just loved it. Lucky you to live in Queensland!

Dear Craft Diva-
ReplyDeleteLove the title! A snow day - what fun (although it doesn't sound like this morning was much fun). I live in Alaska and we've had a couple of rain days this winter. It was cold and snowed and then rained and then ICE. Everywhere. When the school buses starting falling off the road they sent us home. And somehow I ended up at my desk too. What fun to have such a pretty tree outside your window...curious where you live.
Thanks for stopping by the Fun Room.

A snow day! All we seem to have is rain! There's still time though! Glad it meant you had more crafty time. Thanks for visiting,Chris#70
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Chris.
DeleteAt least with rain you can still drive reasonably quickly, unlike this awful snow--we've had about 10" today.

I knew there had to be a good side to living where you get snow, days off!! I love that black and white box on your desk. Enjoy your crafty day off.

ReplyDeleteJust for the record, I think I'd rather be in Australia!

Thanks for your visit, Michelle. I am struggling to type with a kitty between me and the laptop, resting her paws on my arm!! Your desk looks lovely, and a lot tidier than mine! I shall definitely be posting about my hubby's valentine card, and also the teabags, although the latter will take a while because I need to collect a lot more first.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Ah yes, a snow day is just what is needed..it's madness gettign stuck out there! Am very impressed that your sponge daubers are so neatly corralled....but not surprised really, your desk talks about neat!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Julia.
DeleteThe truth is. it's only neat because I can't work or craft when it isn't--it gives me hives!

Hi Michelle, are those gelatos I can see on your very gorgeous desk? I really want to get into those. I can recommend copics - it is so easy to do professional looking colouring, they make you realise how limited felt tip markers are!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're making the most of your snow day, stay warm and safe. MMx #40
Thanks for dropping by Maisie.
DeleteThose are actually my sponge daubers. I haven't really ventured into colouring to much yet.
