First, the basic facts. I've been happily un-married to the love of my life for 14 years and I have two great kids and a sweetheart of a daughter-in-law, and in February 2014 I will become a Nana for the first time. Mr. R and I have 3 English Bulldogs that are just as spoiled as children. We love to travel and visit new places and have just purchased a plot of land that will become our cottage, and later on where we plan to retire.
So, what started this fun paper journey? Let me just say that for my whole life I didn't think I was in any way a "crafty" person. My lovely sister seemed to get all the crafting genes in the family and owned her own store for many years. I happily watched from the sidelines with no real interest. Until...the "trip".
In October 2009 I traveled to Australia for a three week trip to attend my niece's wedding. While there I toured through half the continent and enjoyed myself to no end. I also came home with over 1000 photos. It was such an incredible experience that I wanted to remember and be able to look back on. I took the plunge and decided to make a scrapbook.
That was the beginning of the end!
Four years later I have filled an entire room with my "must have it" stuff. I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and plan on joining up again as there are still so many "Ohhh, I've gotta have that!" things that I would go broke buying them all!
I spend lots of time visiting others blogs as there are so many talented, lovely people out in blogland that are willing to share not just their creations, but how to make them as well. And it's so much fun to get a glimpse of their lives as well.
I appreciate your stopping by to visit and love to read all the comments that are left by the wonderful people who drop by.
A big THANK YOU to all of you that stop by! Your visits and support make my day.
